CISA® and CISM® Exam Information

See our Calendar page or ISACA® International for upcoming test dates.   Dallas has been designated as the test center for candidates residing in North Texas.

Candidates for either the CISA or CISM examinations have 4 hours to answer 200 multiple choice questions on the respective exam.

The CISA examination tests a candidate's knowledge of IS audit principles and practices as well as technical content areas. The exam covers one process and five content areas (domains) and those tasks that are routinely performed by a CISA.

The CISM examination covers five information security management areas, each of which is further defined and detailed through task and knowledge statements.  These areas and statements were developed by the CISM Certification Board and represent a job practice analysis of the work performed by information security managers as validated by prominent industry leaders, subject matter experts and industry practitioners.

Review manuals for the exams along with sample tests are also available for purchase at the
ISACA Book Store.

For more information on either examination, see Certification on ISACA's web site or e-mail our chapter's Certification Coordinator.

Start preparing now for your future!
